We've been working on the website to provide you with free and accessible resources for months now. All we're asking for is the opportunity to do this full time.
This amount of 4800 isn't chosen at random, it is the german minimum wage for three people, because most of the website has been setup by three people.
Kaper, Idu and me, the MAKeR.
If this actually succeeds and we manage to collect the full amount, it will mean we'll be able to work on the website full time, and if you think it's impressive now, just keep in mind that everything we've been doing for the past half a year has been in our very, very limited free time.

We're a science communication charity
I personally am MAKiT, the founder, the one who MAKeS., I've been working for the past couple of years as a science communicator, and at the beginning of 2026 I've decided to start a science communication charity. After six months of fighting, the foundation finally got registered and the work took off.
We've spent two months working hard on the charity as volunteers, and I say "we" because it became a "we".
There is Remko, the in-house physicist, a literal Master of physics in charge of creating the educational material and lessons to teach everyone physics.
After that there is kaper and Idu, the dream team behind the website, kaper has setup the infrastructure for it from scratch back in the ye olden days, and has been working on it ever since. Idu joined in a bit later, and right away cleaned up the database, documented the site and has been a crucial pillar supporting the site ever since.
There are more people in the charity, work of whom you will see soon, so just hold tight and get ready for the exciting things to come.

Everything we've done so far has been without a budget, that should serve as proof of our capabilities and commitment.
