Under the Reefs Orchestra

pre-order the LP "Under the Reefs Orchestra"

About the project

After 2 years of experimentation, "Under the Reefs Orchestra" released its first eponymous LP, under the bosom of the young and daring label: Capitane Records!

An instrumental album, a stellar journey, a soundtrack haunted by the specters of Moondog and Adrien Belew.

Seven hypnotic and electrifying songs taken from the imagination of Clement Nourry and passed through the sonic forges of Marti Melia (Bass saxophone) and Louis Evrard (Drums, Electric guitar)

Seven stages of a hallucinating trip along the unstable Japanese volcanic faults, in the bright saline deserts of Argentina, in a slow sinking towards the bottom of the Pacific Ocean ...

The album will be released on June 4 in physics and on digital platforms.

The album was recorded for two intense and hot days at the Jet Studio with Alex Davidson and mixed by Sebastien Van Hoye.

The cover and the visuals were fomented by David Delruelle

The photos are by Olivier Donnet

Two titles have already been released:

Tucuman :

and Sumo:

What are the funds for?

If it is used to guarantee the independence of the project, your pre-order will be used above all to launch the vinyl pressing of the album. Sound production took more or less two years and was largely self-funded, but today there is a lack of funds to give it a physical existence

About the project owner

Clément Nourry, guitarist, composer and close collaborator of Yokaï and Nicolas Michaux has been evolving for 15 years on the hidden side of the Brussels scene.

It always appears where we do not expect it, away from the stylistic chapels, with a constant sound and melodic requirement.

Under the Reefs Orchestra continues the research he has been conducting solo for 12 years as a composer and improviser.
