About the project

The platform of lovers of local fashion and eco-responsible !

What is Outfitnet ?

Outfitnet is a platform where you can sell and exchange your clothes, accessories and cosmetics for free, between individuals throughout Quebec and even Canada! Create an account, take a picture of your article, post it on our site or application, wait for the notification of a buyer and send it or deliver it by hand. Nothing's easier ! By the way, men will be welcome too :)

You could also personalize your news feed, depending on your size or your favorite brands for example.

Secret ingredient ?

Outfitnet is not only for individuals. We also want to promote local brands and artisans through our articles on the blog and social networks, but especially by providing a Marketplace system for local brands! Outfitnet will be THE place to discover the local brands of your city.

And finally, there will be "shop my closet" days mixed with local markets organized regularly in Montreal with surprises to be won.

Why trust Outfitnet ?

Are you afraid of being ripped off? Do not worry, each seller or buyer will have to create a profile so that members can evaluate each other after each transaction, those who do not respect the rules will receive warnings before being blocked from the site, or on the contrary, the best members will receive gifts! Oufitnet will be a real community respectful of the environment but also of others!

What are the funds for?

The funding will be used mostly to create the website, it is a complex website that requires a large investment, and without a website, Outfitnet can not see the day. The application will be created later if funding goes beyond our expectations. A small portion will be used for marketing, for the commission Ulule and transaction fees  :)

About the project owner

My name is Charlène Morin, 24 years old, I have been living in Montreal for 3 years now. I am in the final year of the Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurial Dynamics at UQAM.
When I arrived in Montreal, I wanted to find second-hand clothes, which I used to do in France with several specialized websites for that, but I soon noticed that in Canada, at least in Quebec, there was no website for that.
So I quickly opened a Facebook group, which you may know, Le Vide Dressing de Montreal. Seeing the success of this group in a few months, I quickly realized that there was really something to do, like a website and an application to simplify things for example! I was far from being the only one to like sorting in her wardrobe to make some money or to find beautiful cheap pieces. It's been 2 years that I am on this project and I would like finally that it is concretized by the socio financing.
