FAQ

  • Why are you developing a game about cryptocurrencies and blockchain?

Cryptocurrencies have had wide media visibility with Bitcoin. Beyond the buzz, it seems that cryptocurrencies are still unidentified monetary objects for a lot of people. Digital currency? Financial assets ? Store of value like gold? Speculative assets ? All of this is not yet clear. Our aim is to increase public awareness of these abstract concepts and to offer the basic principles of blockchain technology without taking sides or promoting any digital currency.

  • Do we play real money in the game?

No. Above all, our project offers a playful, competitive and educational experience to players. One of the motivations during its conception was to increase public awareness of the emergence of digital in the monetary sphere. We have chosen not to directly promote existing cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) because we want to remain independent of the mercantile interests behind these currencies / digital assets. In the future, if the community thinks this could enhance the gaming experience, we may be open to creating a game-specific cryptocurrency or integrating an existing cryptocurrency.

  • Why are you developing a digital version and not just the game board?

The game board was a key element in the design of the game. However, to enhance the players' experience and put them directly in situation with the future of money, we chose a digital version which offers better interactivity and fluidity in the gameplay.
