Martin Joey Dine "Both at Once" 2019

Help me to produce my new album!

About the project

Hello, I'm Martin Joey Dine, a 27 years old french piano player, composer, producer and award-winner and today I need your help to produce a new album of 14 original tracks and jazz standard arrangement.

This album was recorded in Amsterdam -2 studio by Lex Tanger in April 2019 with 7 musicians, here a bit more about the lineup :

羅妍婷 Yenting-Lo (voice), Lucas Martinez (tenor saxophone), Jose Soares (alto saxophone), Lea Ciechelski (flute), Pierre Balda (doublebass), Roope Kantonen (drums), Martin Joey Dine (piano, composition)

This album will be a double album and will have two sides : one will contains 6 loves songs in piano/voice duet, 6 love story about girls, mens, but also the climate change, amsterdam or different subjects like people, places, heartbreaking or falling in love. The second one will contains 8 tracks (7 original compositions and 1 arrangement). it's mostly a modern jazz quintet setting inluding skilled european musicians influenced by the New York City new wave of playing the music.

I did put a lot of effort and hardwork into this project whom took me over 3 years to be finalized. Now it's time to make a real beautiful object a physical CD and a Vinyl and together with my label : Music Box Publishing and the digital distributor : Believe we want people to discover the beauty of the jazz world.

The artwork and illustration of the cover will be done by the parisian designer Ben Renaut. I totally fell in love for his great path and I truly think it could sublimate the work of the french photographer Christophe Esnault who took the front picture.

What are the funds for?

Why do we need your help?

These 1950€ will be collected to transform the recorded content into a mixed, masterized original physical CD or Vinyl. In the making process of making an album, several steps are definitely needed :

- Mixage

- Mastering

- Cover photoshoot

- Graphism and design of the CD, Vinyl

- Realization of the packaging and printing

- Printing of 500 CD copies and 500 Vinyl copies

- Payment of the copyright company SDRM and Sacem

- PR and digital marketing to promote the CD, Vinyl

Everysteps of this making-of cost a lot of money and alone I can't afford this. That's why you can become an official producer of this new record and be a part of the adventure while contributing to this project!

5000 times thank you ! ♥♥♥
