Fairwear for clean energy

About the project

This is the challenge that Social Andean Expedition has taken over since 2016, gathering funds to buy and install solar panels in small public schools throughout the Andes. To this initiative, La Petite Mort could not stay a stranger. Sharing the same roots and working closely with Andean fibers, it seemed only natural to put out the shoulder for this project to keep on running.

We're going to make the first expedition of 2018 happen. All of us.

To do so, we have prepared a special selection of streetwear pieces to fund the installation at the I.E.I. Los Angeles de Ipipata (kindergarten in Huancavelica, Peru).  The selection is tiny, but deliciously soft, comfy and ethical (it will feel twice as good). Have we mentionned it is also unisex? :) But before we go any further, what is LuvRevolt?

This is LuvRevolt, young independent initiatives working to create real change. Driven by a generation sick of senseless consumption and social inequality; a generation willing to take action; as we like to think, a generation on fire!

You can make this project happen by ordering one of the pieces listed here. You'll find all particular details, such as sizing and color availability further below.

Practical information !

  • B-BEES is a one size only beanie, however, being a knitted piece it will naturally adjust after a few times wearing it. Just like new shoes, you gotta make it your own until it feels just fine.

  • LUV & REVOLUCION are available in S, M, L. With its straight but it will fit loosely and gracious for you to style it as desired.

Delivery: If the campaign is successul, the first commands will start leaving on mid-december and will continue to leave the 3rd and 4th week of the month! We aim to have most of them deliver just in time for Xmas! but we depend on the national postal service so we can't promise you'll have it under the tree. However! you'll definetely have it para Bajada de Reyes!!

Shipping within France is considered, for other countries at the European Union a simbolic 4€ fee must be considered. Shipping to other countries shall be treated under the national service fee according to weight.

Exchanges/Returns: If once received, you realize that the size you picked doesn't work we'll be happy to exchange it subject to availability (we'll keep a tiny extra stock available). However the fees of return/shipping will be under your charge. It's a loose/straight fit so things should run smoothly ;)
In the odd case we no longer have the new size you're asking for, we'll exceptionally give you the option of exchanging it to a similar tshirt (silkscreened, not embroidered) of the regular collection of La Petite Mort.

What are the funds for?

The money collected is mainly destined to cover the expenses for the infrastructure and installation at the school, but there are others expenses to consider and it goes like this:

About the project owner

Latapuquio energy installation (4100 m.a.s.l.), February 2017.

Andrea (a.k.a. Andreina) is a fireball engaged on promoting sustainability and a culture of diversity. Also happens to be the founder of La Petite Mort, an easy-to-wear ethical brand doing unisex streetwear in premium organic fibers; all renewable and cruelty-free. Based in Paris, the brand blends its Hispanic heritage with the European urban culture.

Alfredo is the director of Social Andean Expedition. Asocial enterprise promoting development in remote Andean communities through sustainable tourism and clean energy. SAE has brought renewable energy to five small schools already! Thanks to the economical support of travelers and the logistic support of local authorities.

Andrea & Alfredo are good friends from school, endless travelers, they grew appart as expats in different continents to later find themselves again working to improve the quality of living in their homeland.

This would not even be a project withouth the help of support of our friends! Here's the shortest version of a long list of luv'rs:

If, for whatever reason, you cannot support us with a donation, you can still stand behind this project by sharing it with others! The bigger the reach, the larger our chances to make it! And we'll be truly thankful!

Words of encouragement are also kindly welcome in the comments section :)
