The new animation short film !

About the project

What are the funds for?

Captain 3D, is the original idea of the talented child of animation, Victor Haegelin.
This idea took its form of an adventurous and comedy story of a young girl who has to be saved from a cruel monster! All this with incredible 3D special effects! Thanks to the studio MANUEL CAM and our amazing crew, who wants to see Captain 3D on a big screen, this Hollywood dream becomes now a reality!

To launch this adventure we had the chance to get the support of the CNC in the field of new technologies. It helped us taking a big step into the 3D world: conceptualizing the 3D characters, printing in 3D the different face expressions as well as working with young professionals talented in the animation domain to give you the best film possible!

We have also received support from The Bretagne Region thanks to JPL FILMS. But it takes a long time and demands scrupulous work to create an animated film… and most of all, it's very expensive to use new technologies and create innovative ideas.
Now, to finish this project and maintain its promising value, we need you, our future co-producers!

The shoot has already started and early September, we'll start a long process of post production thanks to the ROYAL POST team: we'll remove wires supporting our heroes in their incredible acrobatic movements, add special effects, edit the film in a fabulous rhythm, prepare credits with also your name in it, do the color correction, compose the music. It will all end by sending the film to numerous festivals around the world so that we can share this adventure with everybody!

The film will not last longer than a couple of minutes but we are a hardworking crew, and we will do all our best to help Captain 3D continue his adventure without getting stuck!

About the project owner

Victor Haegelin is an animation passionate. He has been studying in the film school in Prague, FAMU. He than continued his studies in Brest at ISB (Image & Sound Brest). In 2007, when he returned to Paris, his paths crossed with Partizan and this is how a long co-operation in the field of music videos, short films and funny commercials started. You can find all his videos on his website: ... and possibly meet him in person, somewhere at the corner of a street, when he tries to bring chewing gums to life and save it from the pigeons or when he talks to vegetables in your fridge or even when he animates cubes that follows wire made characters!

The rest of his story… well you can write together with him!
