About the project
Be Red is a shoe brand designed and manufactured in India, respecting know-how, humans being and environment.
At Be Red, we truly believe that fashion should not a be synonym for slavery and that work should make everyone happy. We chose our suppliers carefully to make sure their are happy to work on this innovative project and they use material that are not harmful for people or the environment.
We want to help our artisans and others craft clusters to develop their entrepreneur skills and be more independant.

The first collection
Our first collection is named Delhi boys. We were inspired by the incredible South delhi fashion scene and its amazing mixed between traditional textiles and modernity. This collection is a love declaration to Indian craft and a step forward to the future of fashion. Inpired by India, again and again, today and forever...
We size only from 37 to 43 (men) . After your order we will send you an email to help you choose your size. Please enter a valid email and post address for contact and delivery . Looking forward to hear from you !
Manufacturing Process
All our partners are social ventures and respect some criterias such as decent working hours, minimum salary, and safe work conditions. We trust them because we spend days working with them.
Our shoes are made of block-printed cotton fabric and the sole is handmade with jute. Jute let your feet breathe in summer time. Fabric are block-printed by hand with vegetal dyes which makes their color so special and subtle. Each one has his own story, hours of hard work, laugh, failure sometimes and a great team work .
The process is mainly handmade and sizes may slighty varies, each pair is a a lilttle different form her sister but no worries you won't end up with 2 different feets.
Production and delivery
In order to launch our first collection, we need a minimum of 100 orders. Without it , our suppliers won't be able to start a production. Samples are ready, you just have to order the one you like !
The first delivery will be in your mailbox by early July

We need a minimum of 100 pairs to launch our first production so share the news with your friends if you like our shoes.
Hopefully, we will give more and more work every day to our artisans and show everyone a new production model in fashion.
About the project owner
I'm Charlotte, a textile and graphic designer, traveller, entrepreneur and I can be really stubborn when it comes to fashion and sustainability issues.
In 2013 I launched a pop-up store dedicated to eco-friendly design, it's now mu turn to start my own brand!
I worked in UK, France, India, Vietnam but India has always been my love and heart country. This is where my passion for textiles are grown and developped. This collection is made with all the love I have for the country and his amazingly skilled artisans. I went to meet and work with them and I'm so happy to finally show this collection to the public !
