About
Hi there,
Admittedly, we are not as charismatic and opinion-forming as Winston Churchill (we don't even know if that's possible!), we have no opportunity to welcome musicians whose popularity is on a par with David Bovie's and when it comes to the number of copies sold we lose with J. K. Rowling in spectacular way – but from more than one and half year, we provide you the latest news from the world of Japanese pop culture – not only in United Kingdom...

However, this time Great Britain remains the target of our current fund-raising.
“But why?” you ask. Being with you for so long we would like to print Visual Scene. Some of you may have noticed that it was possible to buy our magazine as an ebook but many voices of the fans who insisted on a print version became a motivation for us to next step.

More than just an ordinary manga magazine
In Visual Scene you will find:
MANGA and ANIME, LIGHT NOVELS, VISUAL NOVELS, J-DRAMA, MUSIC, VIDEO GAMES, MOVIES – all of these topics are covered in different forms – articles, characteristics of favorite characters, reviews of various productions (both well-known and forgotten)…so many hobbies, so much variety.
INTRIGUING STORIES, LIGHT NOVEL SERIES and COMICS – yeah, from the beginning we present to you a short manga tales. We have recently begun issuing a "Namaeketten" & "Undead Fairy Tales" series, which are no different from the Japanese standards - both in terms of graphics and storyline. In our magazine you could have already read the first two chapters of "Yakuza Ties: Spring" - the original light novel linking growing up and slice of life themes with the yakuza plot. We strive to provide you an exciting, sometimes difficult to read fantasy, s.f. and horror stories/fanfics - always closely connected to Japan.

ECCHI & FICTIONALIZED INTERVIEWS – read how one of our editors is talking with cute anime girls! Unusual plots - sometimes serious, sometimes funny…always exciting!
Reports from the MAJOR UK CONVENTIONS, interviews with POPULAR JAPANESE BANDS, ILLUSTRATORS, and COSPLAYERS KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, information about CRAZY JAPANESE INVENTIONS.
COOL ANIME POSTERS
LITTLE SOMETHING ABOUT THE JAPANESE SOCIETY– things that might be surprising, even shocking when getting to know Japan.

What are the funds for?
We need the funds to cover for the printout costs of the first printed edition of Visual Scene in the UK. Readers will get the magazine in the high-quality print. We ourselves have to pay for composition of the magazine, maintenance of our editorial office, distribution and marketing of the British edition of Visual Scene.

About the project owner
The owner of the rights to the Visual Scene and also the publisher of the print version on the Polish market and the digital edition in the UK is Yokatta publishing house.
Cooperation with the fans and our experience allowed us to create the circle of interest around the Visual Scene and provide entertainment from the world of Japanese pop culture especially for you.
