My name is Maso Ricci (aka hatefish). I have studied classical music for a while and I have been fascinated by experimental music since I played shoenberg, casella and (I would say) bach.
Then I jumped into electronic music and I am still exploring these worlds where machines and humans interact to make wonderful "bleeps" and sounds.

Above my synth patched: wires go out from outputs and enter in inputs. Looks messy but is fun and sometimes sounds nice.
Although music is not my job (I am a biologist) I always reserve a little time for music at the end of the day.
Sometimes I feel like I have to play something, to simply patch my synth or to program my drum machine.
Above the hyptonic sequencer of my cheap and great-sounding drum-machine.
Right now I have a few completed and ongoing electronic projects: here you may find a multimedia installation (from the artist franca marini) where I was involved in the team working on the production of the original soundtrack; here you'll find my (in progress) website and of course I could not resist developing some "do it yourself" effects for my synthesizer.

What are the funds for?
Funds will be used for switching from the lite version of the software I use for making music (the DAW )to the complete version. The lite version is great for putting down ideas but eventually I realized that for getting to the end of the song I need the extra power of the complete version.
About the project owner
My name is Maso. I am a kind of researcher in chemical physics but I am also completely addicted to experimental and electronic music. IDM, minimal, glitch ... whatever the genre, I always find something interesting to listen to.
So I started to make music in my room.
