About
WHAT IS KSAT?
It’s an art publication lead by the idea of collaboration & interaction.
It’s an exhibition space on 3 medium completing each other instead of repeating each other :
o Paper : used to create a transportable exhibition
o Digital : used to create a permanent exhibition
o An actual exhibition : used to create a temporary exhibition
It’s a European group of artists lead by the wish to exchange beyond their culture differences.
Different forms of art collude in an unsual way in order to present the work of the artists from another angle. The result is a crossing between a magazine and an artist’s book made by the artists themselves.
KSAT envisions itself as the new playground for artists after the gallery and the museum.

What are the funds for?
The funds will be used to print the publication. We asked for the minimum we need:
890 euros for 100 copies in colors
If we have extra money we could print more copies and add goodies like posters or else.
1247 euros for 200 copies in colors
If you are SUPER EXTRA generous then the money will be used to improve your experience at the event / exhibition and make all of our crazy ideas come true. The more funds we can raise, the more copies, better quality and crazy experience.
It is important to note that we are in a path where we are trying to go professional and this issue will be our sample to go look after more sustainable funds.
The publication will probably be binded by hands because we like hand made things :

About the project owner
The project started in march 2010 by Yasmine Tashk and then has been extended to more artists in order to create a group dynamic. Now it's an international group, mainly european with artists from Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, US, Canada, France and else.
For the 5th issue the team has grown and Yasmine Tashk is editing the publication along with Winnie Schwarz, Hanna Boege and Brent Dahl. Yasmine is french, Winnie and Hanna germans and Brent is south african. Because of it's international dimension the publication is bilingual.
We already published 4 issues (self financed) and organised 2 events. It looked like that :
Opening in Rotterdam, The Netherlands - Gallery De Zwarte Ruyter - 18th of December, 2010 - Part 1 (Video by Buster Adams) :
