About
Brussels, in the midst of civil war. The two camps (Flamans and Wallons) face one another. A contingent of African blue helmets is there to stall the language barrier at Vilvoorde.
BBK is an absurd film, a prevention film, funny at times, serious at others. It shows what could become of Belgium, the heart of Europe: a place of civil war. Beware! Behind the extremists in ties, legally elected, can hide Fascism...and then follows armed conflict, always pointless, always bloody.
A subject impossible to get financed by official organisations, this film needs your donations to exist. According to Geluck, the situation in Belgium is "a little like that of the Near East between the Israelis and Palestinians. It's always been difficult and it will never stop!"

What are the funds for?
We're asking for 5000 euros from you. The total budget for this 15 minute film is about 10,000 euros. Half of this will pay for the salaries, and is taken care of by Visu-l. The other, the €5000 you will help to raise, will go towards the various essential expenses.

The donations will finance:
- Renting the filming equipment (camera + lighting)
- Costumes
- Make up
- Filming insurance
- Meals for the team
- Travel expenses for the filming team
- The post production costs, duplications and postage costs for the DVDs
- Costs to rent a cinema room in Paris and Brussels for the premiere of the film
- Festival registration costs
Filming running in 2011.
About the project owner
Born of a Flemish father and Walloon mother and having lived in Brussels up 'till the age of 30, I am, like many Belgians, appalled with the Belgian system based on a linguistic scission, a ridiculous frontier of disaccord, not to mention a dangerous situation. Why did our parents do this?
