We are creating a short film (roughly 7.5 minutes) about a local celebrity sign dancer in our community. Despite dealing with serious obsessive compulsive disorder and attention deficit disorder, this young man has managed to hold a job as a sign dancer for a pizza place for nearly 3 years. The interesting part of this is that he is well known in the area-having amassed nearly 5,000 fans on his Facebook page. Our project is a short biopic to let people know that despite personal issues you can succeed-sometimes in unexpected ways.
What are the funds for?
The funds will cover the costs of DV tapes, 3 ccd camera rental and other production and post production costs.
*Supporters should be aware that producing credits are in name only. While this is a not for profit project, Shop retains the rights to this entire film, which includes any future proceeds that might be derived from this work.
