Facebook Ads: are they effective?

Personally I don't think Facebook ads are effective. Facebook's great if you're looking for visibility, but not so good for generating clicks as no one really looks at the ads, they're too busy stalking other people! This graph proves that most people don't even acknowledge the ads are there!
